Michael Quan

B.Sc., CCAMA, DC,   (Chiropractor)

Dr. Quan's medical background stems from four years at York University followed by four years at New York Chiropractic College (NYCC), where he received his Doctorate of Chiropractic.

He gained valuable experience at NYCC ranging from pediatrics to elite athletic performance at the Lake Placid Olympic Training Center. Dr. Quan is a member with good standing in the Ontario Chiropractic Association (OCA) and Canadian Chiropractic Association (CCA) and is licensed in both Canada and the United States.

Julie Marshall

RMT (Massage Therapist)

Julie  has worked in a multidisciplinary health and wellness setting since 1998.  

 

Julie graduated from Sutherland Chan School and Teaching Clinic where she was recognized for her innovative treatments of patients with Parkinson's.  She currently applies techniques such as neuromuscular integration and structural alignment, graded peripheral joint mobilization, deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.

Clayton Chamberlain

RMT (Massage Therapist)

Clayton's background in massage therapy allows him to develop his clients physically while providing a safe yet effective experience.

 

Clayton has been working with the general population and young athletes throughout the Durham Area for over 10 years. He works with a highly skilled team of fitness professionals who are proven to deliver quality performance from athletes and clients at all levels.

Owen Wong

PT, MPT, Dip. AMPT, CGIMS (Physiotherapist)

Mr. Owen Wong is a registered physical therapist who graduated from Western University in 2004 with a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology and a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy.  Owen has gained years of experience working in the hospital and clinic setting helping rehabilitate patients recovering from complex medical and musculoskeletal conditions, and has gained a reputation of using a knowledgeable and empathetic approach to help rehabilitate his patients.

Meagan Simpson

Fascial Stretch Therapist

PTA (Physiotherapist Assistant)

Meagan is a graduate from Durham College with a diploma in both Physiotherapy Assistant and Occupational Therapy Assistant (2016).

 

She is currently enrolled in Health Science (Kinesiology) at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology, in hopes of pursuing a career in Physiotherapy.

Melissa Cooper

Office Manager

Since 2017, Melissa oversees all administrative aspects in the office. If you have a “money” question, she’s your gal! Also, direct any administrative issues you have her way and she’d be happy to help you.  Her academic background in rehabilitation and health sciences is an asset when assisting our patients with choosing the right service and answering treatment related questions.

Jennifer Yun

Naturopathic Doctor

Dr. Yun completed her Specialized Honours Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology at York University in 2004 and went on to pursue post-graduate education in Naturopathic Medicine at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto.

 

After practicing naturopathic medicine in mid-town Toronto for nine years, Dr. Yun has established roots in Whitby and is looking forward to continuing to provide quality health care for patients in the Durham region.

Francis Fernandes

RMT (Massage Therapist)

Francis has been practicing since 2009, and is a graduate from Centennial College.  His experience within a clinical setting is invaluable in enhancing your true potential within the realm of soft tissue injuries with therapeutic massage treatments.

 

Francis' advanced knowledge of the body's biomechanics with the use of Swedish massage techniques, Myofascial release, trigger point therapy, joint mobilizations and stretching will have you on your way to a speedy recovery.

Tanya Bissonnette

Fascial Stretch Therapist

RockTape FMT Certification

PTA (Physiotherapist Assistant)

Tanya graduated with honours from Trios College in April 2010. Tanya is certified with Rock Tape Canada utilizing IASTM (Instrument Soft Tissue Mobilization), cupping and kinesiology taping. IASTM uses specially designed instruments to provide a mobilizing effect to scar tissue and myofascial adhesions.

She combines FST, IASTM, cupping, and kinesiology taping to alleviate fascial restrictions to achieve optimal movement to get you back to a pain free life!

Paul Claveria

Fascial Stretch Therapist 
PTA (Physiotherapist Assistant)

Paul is a University of Toronto graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with high honours. Paul hopes of continuing his education by pursuing a career in physiotherapy. He is currently a Certified Fascial Stretch Therapist using his techniques to help you relax and gain mobility throughout your body.

 

Paul grew up playing a variety of sports and has played competitive basketball since he was 10. He has participated in numerous tournaments and leagues across Ontario and the US. Paul also uses his knowledge and years of experience in basketball to coach youth and foster their love for the sport. Aside from basketball, Paul enjoys lifting weights, playing video games, and spending time with friends/family.

His goal is to help others recover from injury and improve their quality of life through movement and education. He believes movement is the key to happiness!

Kayla Daligadu

RMT (Massage Therapist)

Kayla has been practicing since 2018, and is a graduate of Centennial College.  She continued her education when receiving her Level 1 Fascial Stretch Therapist certification. 

 

Her clinical approach stems from her love of athletics and being a varsity athlete.  She focuses on tailoring each treatment to each individual patient, and understands that no two people are alike.

 

Kayla's advanced knowledge of anatomy and physiology allows her to use a variety of techniques that best suit each individual that enters her treatment space.
