Our Team

Danielle Ufniak

MSc PT, BA (Hons), CMA, Registered Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist

Danielle’s passion for physiotherapy began during her undergraduate program at the University of Waterloo. As a marathon runner, Ironman triathlete, and fitness competitor, Danielle has experienced both chronic and acute injuries and realized the benefits of physiotherapy rehabilitation firsthand.

Danielle is a recent graduate from the University of Toronto Masters of Physical Therapy program. She focuses on injury prevention, rehabilitation, evidence-based exercises, and neuromuscular re-education.  Danielle specializes in Neuroproprioceptive Taping (K-Tape), Soft Tissue Release (STR), and Contemporary Neurofunctional Medical Acupuncture through McMaster University. She has specialized in pelvic floor therapy, successfully completing her Level I-III Certification in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy for Female and Male Urinary Incontinence, Female and Male Pelvic Pain, and Clinical Skills for Treating Pelvic Pain. She is registered with the College of Physiotherapy of Ontario in treating the pelvic floor and surrounding joints internally and externally and works with patients with incontinence, prenatal and postpartum women, urogynaecological issues and post-operative pelvic surgeries.

Danielle employs a holistic approach in assessing, treating and training her clients. She understands that no two people, nor two injuries are the same and all rehabilitation and training must be unique to that individual. Her goal is to help people reach their full potential in sports and daily functional mobility through proactive and reactive injury management. She is committed to providing evidence-guided education and treatment that will help you move through your life pain-free, well-informed and blissful. She is excited to join you on maximizing your health and getting active with you!

Outside of work Danielle keeps active and loves pretty much any outdoor activity out there…hiking, snowboarding, walking her dog, and running. She also enjoys traveling and spending time at the cottage.
